高雄輕軌機廠C1及C2車站間，已於三月二十三日開始送電，同時列車亦於二十三至二十四日在機廠進行動態測試前之上電測試，完成軟體版本檢測、輔助電氣測試、安全駕駛輔助電氣測試等。統包商目前正依照既定時程，持續在C1與C2間測試。
捷運局表示，昨（二十五）日上午車輛從輕軌機廠慢速調度至C1車站進行集電弓昇弓充電測試及軌道感應迴圈與車輛訊號接收測試。中午自C1車站再調度至C2車站，進行為期三日之車載儲能設備ACR充放電的檢測與參數調校，確認設備安全無虞後，預計本月三十日起，將於C1與C2車站間利用自有車載儲存電力進行牽引加速與煞車性能等一系列測試，包含上千項的測試作業。目前測試項目正依程序積極辦理中，並朝八月試營運目標邁進。
捷運局長吳義隆再次強調，測試期間，輕軌列車將行駛於C1至C2車站間，測試管制區路段，保持通電狀態，停下腳步觀看之市民大眾請注意安全，切勿接近或進入送電測試管制區。
